This class is perfect for complete beginners, those who prefer a more modified or gentle practice and those who are working through injuries. Start where you are and ease into stretching and strengthening your body. Introduction to the basic poses of yoga, alignment, breathing techniques, focus, and relaxation. Emphasis on breath and modification of movements to improve mobility, energy, and strength. Yoga basics are an excellent way to treat and begin to bring healing to physical injuries, limitations and misalignments in the body especially back, hip, knee, hamstring and shoulder issues.
